I assume you're talking about Cameoline (since you're posting this in tactics).

I would say: heck yeah. Light Infantry and Cameoline equals an all infiltrating army with +1 cover saves. The cost per model is quite a bit higher than normal Guard, but I think the benefits (especially considering that the USGTs always allow infiltrating) are clearly worth it.

If you're playing on a board with lots of 4+ cover, your army is going to be quite tough, something you don't normally associate with the guard.

As long as we're being evil about it, the LI + Camo army is a good candidate for the 3x max-size (max-weapon) Hardened Vet squads, too. They cost a bit more than the line troops, but the proportion goes down (as your line squads are more expensive), and 3x BS4 plasma guns + 1x BS4 lascannon will ruin a lot of people's days.

LI+ Camo is fun. The only real problem with it is that you don't really do much in the way of maneuvering with it.
