Play a bunch of smaller games, that way you get a feel of what each unit in a small environment can do.
I told my group that for a while I wanted to play smaller games and its really helped.
Anyhow what you really want to do is understand how 10th plays out. You want to be able to have units that either move fast into table quarters or deepstrike into them to score points, and cheap if possible because they'll likely get killed right afterwards.
One or two Crisis teams with aftermarket guns, ghostkeels hit hard but few shots. Riptides are not super awesome like they have been in prior editions, they are not bad though. Infantry should be in transports. And you might want kroot hounds, super cheap, fast and totally expendable.
Otherwise everything looks good. It'll come down to how you load up your units gear and your game plan.
