After focusing on my Orks for a while I wanted to switch gears and give my Chaos Daemons army a bit of loving. While I am not really going for Greater Daemons just yet, I've wanted to fluff out my list with some lesser daemons and characters such as the Blue Scribe, the Masque of Slaanesh, the Poxbringer, and of course the Changling. I'm currently getting ready to purchase one later this weekend, and I'm curious on how to best put them to good use in my army? I am running a mixed horde style lesser daemons list, something you'd sort of see in Total War Warhammer three at lower tech levels. Any suggestions with the Changling?

So, all three of those are lone operatives, intended to sulk about and do stuff in the background. They can be highly useful as action monkeys, secondary objective scorers, and screening.

You can use the "realm of chaos" strat to reposition them around the board, and lone operative should help keep them alive. And scoring. Hopefully, your main troops should keep the enemy focused on themselves and not your characters.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.
