... since Pixelgeek hasn't posted this yet (and I did give him a chance ) here are the October releases according to Tabletop Gaming News: Privateer Press has announced their October release schedule which consists of individual blisters and boxed sets for each of the miniatures in the Hordes Primal starter sets. All prices are in US$. Circle Orboros Argus - The argus is a huge and ferocious two-headed canine of think muscle, solid bone, and sharp teeth. In addition to a crippling bite, the argus has developed a signature sonic attack able to funnel its bark into ear-shattering and painful punches of sound. $11.99 Circle Orboros Warpwolf - By drinking a potent mystical elixir, a deranged cultist can tap into his bestial essence and transform into a warpwolf, a predatory embodiment of the Devourer Wurm. Filled only with an urge to slaughter and feast, the hulking bipedal lupine monster unleashes its rage as its constantly shifting body warps to provide extra muscle, added protection, or regenerative healing. $24.99 Legion of Everblight Carnivean - The carnivean is a weapon of death and terror designed for slaughter. The enormous six-limbed monstrosity is covered in thick armored scales and boasts a horrific breath weapon that vomits scorching naphtha capable of melting flesh and igniting every nerve with the pain of blighted destruction. $34.99 Legion of Everblight Shredder - Driven by ravenous hunger and murderous instinct, shredders are fearsomely effective at latching onto and chewing apart any foe unfortunate enough to face them. The more they eat, the more frenetic they become, and sometimes their appetite drives them to consume each other in times of frenzy. 2 per blister. $7.99 Skorne Cyclops Savage - Cyclops savages are brutish and carnivorous creatures from eastern Immoren that live to hunt and kill. Their limited ability to see into the future is key to their amazing intuition in battle where they can see exactly how to evade blows or adjust their movements to penetrate a foe?s defenses. $14.99 Skorne Titan Gladiator - The titan is a solid wall of muscle and flesh with the strength to rip most any creature apart, and its armored body is a weapon it slams into foes to send them flying. When the gladiator pierces an enemy with both of its bladed fists, its extra pair of arms can throw its victim across the battlefield to land in a quivering lump of shattered bones or broken steel. $29.99 Trollblood Axer - With its weapon gripped in both hands, a troll axer eagerly charges into battle while its corded muscles leverage the chopping edge with brutal power. An axer is capable of cleaving through a wall of men in a single swipe, and trollkin leaders have made extensive use of them to bolster the front lines of Trollblood forces. $17.99 Trollblood Impaler - Pitching enormous spears with bone crushing force, impalers are the living ballistae of the trolls. The impact from their massive wood and iron projectiles can send impaled victims flying back into walls, tress, or other combatants. $17.99

Hah! Finally I'll get my damned second Axer.
Boxed Set + Mauler + Champions is precisely 3 points over 500.... and the Axer is precisely 3 points cheaper than the Impaler.

Jeff: Hoarluk is 10 points cheaper than Madrak, I believe. So if you want a cheaper option, pay for the Doomshaper now

I think PP might be making a mistake releasing their paints as sets instead of individually. However I may have to pick up the Mercenary and Menoth packs if the reviews are good. As of right now, I prefer Reaper's Master Series paints.

I'm sure that they'll release them individually. Remember the PP MO is to release stuff in sets and then go back and release individually.

Not sure about the paint sets, but I'll be getting another Axer this way.

I'll probably be getting 1 Argus, 1 Warpwolf (I didn't want two Argus, otherwise I'd just buy another box!).

So according to the chat on the PP forums, Mike McVey is the one overseeing the new paints, and was apparently behind the old GW paints (now Coat D'arms). I could find no evidence of this in the TGN press release or anywhere else. Someone have confirmation, because if this were the case I'd give the paint a second glance?
