Worth a consideration of what objectives/missions your going to take on. Can’t see the 233 you list in the Armies of Germany book but if it’s the Stummel then worth considering that this has a small transport capacity and therefore reducing one of your squads in size but upping them to veterans might give you an assault team that could be moved at speed in the transport. Veterans are remarkably durable in BA especially in small games with few heavy weapons.

I don't see the SDKFZ 233 either, but an internet search seems to indicate it is a open-topped puma body?

Personally, I'd be more apt to consider a SDKFZ 222 or 221 w/ panzerbuche for the slightly smaller profile. The 222's autocannon is deadly to non-tanks, and 221 makes a sneaky light tank hunter.

I also like putting more assault rifles into a squad, but that does mean you have to get closer - not fun against USA opponents with their fire-and-move abilities.

It never ends well

Firstly I commend you on playing smaller BA games. I played a couple of 500pts games recently and they are great fun. So apart from the already raised concern about the 233 (Sorry I don't play Germans), I would say maybe reconsider the 20mm flak. While it does have a decently long range, it being fixed could be a detriment depending on what scenario you're playing. You could easily find it being stuck at the other end of the table without anything to shoot and not being able to move. Smaller games tend to have a lot of space, so I've found mobility is important, especially if you have to try to capture objectives far away. Possibly consider beefing up the squad sizes to maximum, the more bodies the better.
