Just a silly question I have for TY players (or FoW) but how do you model your tank commanders?

I was thinking id only use a tank commander figure in an open hatch on the formation leader(s) and keep everything else closed and instead indicating platoon leaders with numbers and perhaps extra antennas or such.
So how do you lot do it, or do you care at all?

Most players use an open hatch with a head sticking out. Generally, there isn't an issue telling which one is your overall commander, and which ones are commanding individual units.

With my Leopards and M1s I modeled Unit Leaders with the crew commander showing his head while the Formation Leader had both the crew commander and loader showing their heads out of the hatches. Makes it easy at a glance.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Most often, other than appropriate unit markings, I model the commanders with open hatches.

Sometimes I'll put the tank on a base.
1ic base edge gets painted gold, 2ic silver, squad leaders are bronze & #d - I, II, III, IV, etc.
