Did you finally get someone else to help you out with Chasmholm, Ian? Because I would always welcome another Dwarf on the server.

James is a very keen builder of ridiculously over-ambitious transcontinental railway projects. Beneath Sacred Mountain, mostly. Best bet is to head to the portal at Spawn, then go north in the nether through the Great North Tunnel (built by me! there is a railway underneath it built by Sir Ralphy but I didn't find it wholly safe/finished when I tried using it...). Make sure you have food before you enter the Nether as it's quite a long way -- there are farms at Spawn.

Turn right (east) off the Great North Tunnel at the sign for Chasmholm. There may be a minecart in the chest at the junction, as there is a railway in the smaller eastern tunnel. Again you might want to grab some free iron at Spawn and build one (or Fb message me and I'll get online), in case there isn't one when you arrive. Go all the way to the end of the line. Then head North again... you want the Sacred Mountain portal, which is along another couple of railway lines.

Come out of the Sacred Mountain portal into the surface world, and follow the 5-wide quartz road till you get to a big tunnel through Sacred Mountain itself. In a village at the other end of the tunnel is a small hut that contains only 2 furnaces, a chest, a crafting table, and a spiral staircase heading down.

Go down to the bottom of the staircase. Push the button to get into the chambers beneath the village. Head... left? I think it's left? And just keep heading down various staircases in that same direction till you're at a height of y=12 or so. Keep heading down the corridor till it takes you to the 11x11 cylinder that is my end of the tunnel. Head south till you find the bit that isn't finished yet. Finish it! Then we'll add the railtrack (Anvildude is the other miner/engineer on this project -- I think we talked about 2 rails on an obsidian base).

Yep. I actually created a EmberlordofFire Dakka account, then forgot that I had and made Emberlordofire8.

it varies, a lot of time it will be just you on, but when the moon is right there might be 8 of us on.
