Let's do some Quick Maffs. This is in a 28mm-to-the-eye scale, which is about a 1:58 scale. 5'6" is 167.64cm. Times 58 that's 97m high. That's about 33 storeys high, and equal to, say, Fenwick Tower in Halifax, the tallest building in Canada east of Quebec City.

Thank you very much , very kind. the tread is getting on 10 years old so not that prolific given how much some folk create but still it houses most of my work although the blog has The Ages of Darthur which i consider my own Opus Maius. I should really drop more stuff from the blog on here for posterity. Glad you like the build.

@acrowsperch yes it does come apart and has several interior areas that are playable if required.

knocked up a Highland type 40k board recently, learned quite a few new techniques including flocking which i had not done before.

Wow, another really cool board! Even with just two pieces, you seem to have really thought out the modularity. And that bunker/trench complex is just plain cool!

Thanks , yeah i might extend it in future but 4by 4 is okay. its a bit modular which should make it more versatile , i was going to add trees but thought they could wait for any extension.

cheers the rocks are woodland scenic molds cast with crystacal are casting plaster . i have seen some great carved rocks though,

started making a Rotunda for an Imperial governors ball on a pleasure world. will be making the rules for a small game of highnborne social backstabbery too along with most of the npcs at the ball.

Are you printing the building parts or do you actually buy lots of GW scenery?
If you're not printing you might want to look into Archon Studios Rampart kits, they look good and are really friendly on the wallet.

I though it was a 40k version of Arena Rex at first .
