Under the couch

Took a little time over the weekend to get in some painting... trying to get my hand back in after a long painting drought, so wanted something relatively straightforward and fun to paint.

Came across this guy in my 'to be painted' pile. He's an Imp designed by Zordana (Tiny Souls) and sculpted by Kev White from Hasslefree.




Was a blast to paint.

I had originally intended to slap some tattoos on him to make all that skin a little more interesting... but got him to this stage and realised that he just didn't need it. The mini just oozes character, and I think that extra detail would just be redundant and possibly detrimental.

Was nice to be able to practice blending on skin without having to worry about the colour coming out 'right' though

I would say it looks pretty cool. Definately not a beginners work.
