I know that there are some images from DoW but the looks appear to be more elaborated than the average fanvid.

Nope, sorry. That's clips from several different games, among them Firewarrior, Chaos Gate, and Final Liberation. The music is from Chaos Gate.

Nope, the axed movie was a CGI affair based on the Bloodquest comic, so it would have Blood Angels, not Ultramarines. IIRC, it never got past the design phase anyway, with a few test models to see how they would move. Unless you're talking about the FAN film, Damnatus, which was made in Germany and prevented from being distributed(not the same thing as axed, which is cancellation), because it wasn't from GW.

In a way it was axed, GW got the IP legal axe and told the producers to "burn" the tapes or else...

Some good editing there. I played a lot of chaos gate and final liberation and I do remember a fair portion of those sceens. Guess all the space combat must have come from fire warrior (which I played for about a day before throwing away).

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

Yep. All the space scenes were Firewarrior.

Little bit of Dawn of War in there too.
