So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for highlighting a camo pattern over shoulderpads, as opposed to just an extreme highlight on the edge? any feedback would be great!

No suggestions for the camo painting, but one "trick" that most guard players are aware of. trade out your HSO for a JO with an Honorifica Imperialis. Gives the JO the stat line of the HSO and is 5 points cheaper. Not much but every point counts, right?

Anyway, just a suggestion. Otherwise looks good for a core group to expand with. And I'm diggin the paint scheme so far. look forward to more pics.

Thanks! Ill try the JO trick, like you said, 5pts is 5pts, and with the Guard thats a whole lot of points, nearly a whole guardsman!

You can try slowly raiding the base color of the camo closer to white and paint that on. Make sure the paint is rather thin so that you do noy have a glaring bright highlight. From the looks of your painting skills this should be NO problem for you.
