Thanks for the tips. I hadn't ever encountered a DS list (and consequently neither has anyone in my group) so I'm thinking of making one with ogre kingdoms. Do you think it would be better to go with the eleit unity (i.e. maneaters) or perhaps would a unit of iron guts be sufficiently powerful (especially considering that they are already at 50 pts a pop). I think I'll try both ways.

Another thought. Hypothetically, if one were to keep some core hiding in the background to sieze quadrants (i.e. gnoblars) but then take more core to preface the charge (either accepting one against non-DS armies or fleeing to pull DS armies out of position), would the resulting DS charge make are considerable difference in the rest of the game or would it just make the inevitable go quicker?
