At GenCon, I picked up the Undead Skeleton Horde because I needed a bunch of skeletons for my D&D campaign.

I assembled all 20 of them last night. I'm very impressed on how little flashing there was and how easily they fit together. I'll be priming them tonight and painting them later. I have a super heavy I want to work on right now for 40k.

I like the axe stuck in one head, the crow eating the remaining brains/flesh from another head, and the skeleton bursting out of the ground. These were fun minis to assemble. Good job, guys!

Perhaps a bit OT, but do they still send out those Ghoul sprues? It's been three months since I've signed up.

Any word on when they are going to announce the winners for this?

The Orks are the pinnacle of creation. For them, the great struggle is won. They have evolved a society which knows no stress or angst. Who are we to judge them? We Eldar who have failed, or the Humans, on the road to ruin in their turn? And why? Because we sought answers to questions that an Ork wouldn't even bother to ask! We see a culture that is strong and despise it as crude.

Okay ladies and gents, we have a winner!

We got a pretty healthy 200+ entries, so there were quite a few names for Mantic to draw from. But when the dust settled the grand prize winner is:

ThePhish

Congratulations! Mantic should have already sent you an email for you to claim your prize, but if not, PM me and I can also tell you who to email at Mantic.

Thanks again to everyone who entered and to Mantic for running this promo for the Dakka community!

It's a fix I tell you
I demand a recount

weeps bitter tears of sorrow and refuses to congratulate The Phish due to the lingering taste of sour grapes.

Just barely not a 0 post member. Unfortunately poipo32, I willl be claiming it. Those models look fantastic. There's no way I could pass them up. Not to mention they'll be a great start on a dwarf army.

Also, I wanted to say thank you to Mantic Games and Dakka for hosting the contest/drawing.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
