Hmm the main one I have is a unopened box of RT plastic Imperial Guard still in shrink wrap, and I got it for a very good price around maybe 15 years ago. I'm also quite fond of my copy of the limited edition wizard with chainsaw that I have.

Why???

in 6th Ed. Minotaurs count as Core if your general is a Doombull, so my intent is to have an all Minotaur army.

That, and I like the sculpt. I also detest pewter and between the two choices I have for plastic Minotaurs these are the most aesthetically pleasing.

Like a lot of people on this forum I've been around since the early days of Rogue Trader, during that time I've been lucky enough to own all of the rarities that I've ever wanted (at some point at least), although most of them have been sold

The current treasures that I own are all from Forge World: The Inn, the Landship, Stormbird and Caestus. There's something about resin that I find to be desirable I suppose.

When I bought my second hand army of imperial guard in late 2013-early 2014, which got me started into wargaming, it had this little funny conversion. I still can't figure out how the hell he peaced it together, and never truly wanted to redo the paintjob. I just love it as it is and it reminds me of good memories of the time it just got started.

It did see a little combat though, at the very beginning I couldn't put that many points on the table whereas my opponent playing CSM could, so I scrapped the barrel and counted this fellow as a flamer sentinel walker! Oh, and for the first 2 or 3 games, I playd in 6th, with the 3.5 edition codex I also got in this second hand pack. Got my ass whiped 2 games out of 3, but good times. This nurgle marines with toughness 5 really gave me headaches!

In terms of GW stuff, my precious things are:

- my copy of WH40k Rogue Trader, which was a sample provided by GW to the hobby shop I worked in when the game first came out. The boss gave it me as she didn’t know what to do with it.
- my copy of Waaagh The Orks. Still the best fluff GW ever produced, and Paul Banner’s artwork still inspires.
- my surviving RT-era plastic Battlewagon (still unfinished).
- my 3rd Edition Ork / Space Marine army, which I took to my first GW GT.
- a WD which featured another of my GT armies.

I've had a bad habit of selling/trading away old stuff in years past, so I don't have too many things I would really call treasures. Last year I just sold off an Eldar army that was almost entirely metal models for all the aspects. I do have a lot of 2E
AD&D materials that I've collected from used book stores over the years (Ravenloft and Planescape, mostly).
For GW, I suppose I would pick all my Battlefleet Gothic stuff. I adore BFG, it's my favorite game GW ever made. I have a Ramilies Star Fort from Forgeworld. When Specialist Games shut down, I went on a buying spree from the GW US, UK, and Australia webstores to grab as much BFG stuff as I could, and that's all still sitting new in boxes in my closet of shame within my greater room of shame.

"You listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman." - Twin Peaks
