I have this so far:
Duke on Royal Pegasus ~300p
2x Damsel
lvl 2 wizard 180p
2x Paladin on foot with great weapon 132p
2x 6 Knights of the Realm full command 330p
4x 20 Men at Arms full command 416p
6x 20 Peasant Bowmen 660p
3 Pegasus Knights 186p
2 Field Trebuchet 200p
These models that I have put me at 2404 but I know it's probably not very optimal. How should I move what I've got so far into a real 3000p list?
I would drop the two level 2 damsels and swap them out for one level 4 prophetess. Level 2 casters are practically useless against a level 4 and in a 3000 point match-up you are guaranteed to run into one.
Trebuchets are a fun option, but I would drop one if you can. Stonethrowers have always been a bit unreliable and with the larger base size do even less damage than they used to do. Keep one for fun and drop the other.
Your army is very infantry-based for a Bretonnia army; you;ve got 10 (!) infantry units of peasants, who really are not the part of the army you normally would want to focus on.
As already mentioned by others, I would invest in at least one other unit of knights (grail knights are great and the grail knights biy Highland Miniatures make them a manageable investment, or buy a box of knights of the realm).
I would also recommend buying another unit of pegasus knights: in the last few weeks i've come to the conclusion that they're one of our best units!
Finally, see if you can splash for one of the battle standard bearer models, as the upgrade is free for a Bretonnia army.
Hope that helps!
