Ah, finally! 2 pages. I guess now it's a real P&M blog and not just an insane chaos spawn ranting about it's iron warriors!
Just kidding, but it's cool I guess.

Potentially have a game to play 2mrw. Bringing a unit of Legionaries, a Sorcerer to lead them, a Rhino, and some WIP cultists.
Speeeeeeaking of cultists, let's see those heretics and how they look right now! used a glaze of vallejo game colour hot orange in the metals which makes for a great rust!

Also, here's my finished IW CSM squad. I started them in August, and they've all been painted for a while now, except for this one dude who was a conversion (there's this trophy pole backpack option for the champion with a skull inside a primaris head with a spike driven through, and i cut the piece off and used it as a head for the marine.). he was basecoated months ago, and yet remained unpainted until a week ago. Instead of my usual Iron warriors base+nuln oil wash+necron compound drybrush method, I opted for some army painter Flesh Wash on the trim, using Screaming Bell instead of Balthasar Gold. it looks much more striking visually, and fits in with the chaos iron warriors scheme better, while I feel the other 'all over black wash' scheme would work better on heresy era IW's, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks! Hazard stripes look a little off, but that's just because I use one of those sharp small pencils they have at ikea shops, and it means I have to fill in any mistakes on the shoulder pad as I don't always have time to fix mistakes with layers and layers of yellow.. Hope I get to play today, if I do I'll take pictures of all my dudes on the table.

The Rhino, and those 10 marines are completely finished (aside from the basing of course), those cultists are (somewhat) nearing completion, and the rubric marine I'm using as a stand in for a sorcerer (which isn't even built yet) is primed, so most of my army is 'finished' I guess? Basing will come soon, I just haven't been able to find AK Wargame Terrains Dark Earth texture paste in any shops yet, but my Somewhat Friendly Not So Local Game Store has some last time I checked, so I'll finish buyin' up the blood angels and kitbashing them and stuff, then basing will take priority.

Wish me luck! going with undivided in the game, so i have it already from all the gods, using Liber Hereticus on the sorcerer which means the marines he leads (along with rerolling hit and wound rolls of 1) gain Sustained Hits AS WELL AS Lethal Hits when they make a Dark Pact. This seems pretty potent, and rerolls are universally almost always a blessing.

anyway, I'll type more about the game (if it happens at all) and my IW army project for context when I get back.

I played the starter game yesterday and my marines did quite well. I brought in my Orks to touch up because they’re old models, and I asked a guy who’d been there pretty much every time I’ve gone there if he ever wanted to play a game, he thought I meant that day, but I said I meant in future, he then said he actually wanted to play that day, so we both agreed to go back to our places and bring back our models. Apparently some guy tried to jump on some train tracks so some trains were cancelled. Poor guy. Anyway, we rescheduled to today, so I’ll share pics of the starter and todays game when I get back.
