how could i forget good old C&C?

red alert was ok but tiberian sun and red alert 2 dont exist in my world.... what complete cr**.

GW has become that guy just a bit too far into his late 30's at the club full of 20 year olds. Yeah, his stuff was hot last decade, but he refuses to accept that it's time to buy a new wardrobe. Rather than buy it, he's constantly arguing how cool his still is.

---Mauleed, on GW's current situation.

Can't forget C&C Generals, while it wasn't the same style as the others it was a bit more realistic. I enjoyed it and it's expansion up until EA screwed it up by breaking the game with a patch and then deciding not to fix it.

I like Shattered Galaxy for a while. Not the most creative unit wise, but who couldn't love an MMORTS? I also am waiting very eagerly for Supreme Commander. Rise of Nations is good, too.

I liked AoE3. Developers are in a bind: People complain if they change anything in their games, and people comlain if they don't add anything. Personally, if you just want better graphics and new units, then play Age 2. But if you want to see the IP advance and grow, becoming better, by all means play Age 3.

My personal faves for RTS: Age of Empires 1-3 (been playing since the beginning!), DoW, Rise of Nations, and Ground Control II, the greatest game that no one played.
