Finally got done with my looted Raider.
I could have added more Dakka but the model is busy enough as it is, and it's a cool model without putting Orks on it.



I'm in the process of putting the finishing touches to the mob of 12 Pirate Boyz with a Nob to go with it. Just need to finish the basing and paint the eyes. Maybe add a wash. Although the photos deceive a bit as I've had to use a flash; I've no opportunity to photograph with natural light at the moment.

Still looks quite dark eldary and clean (freshly looted?)

Needs more rusted metal/wooden planks strapped all over the sides

Or maybe some DE "trophy" bodies on the side... also i think it could do with a little more wear and tear.

Definately needs to be orkified more. More plates welded on, more missing sections, lots more ork grubbins, etc.

I like it so far. Looks like da boyz could do witha wash though

maybe model wheels on it, like some dumb boy crashed it and they had to make it not floaty , and definately more DAKKA!!!

Spikes and plates and wires and holes and gork idols and red paint everywhere and grots getting burnt to a crisp in the engines...

I think the raider would look boss with some big mag wheels on the back, small wheels on front and rip off that silly rudder blade thing to make room for a big engine. Hang some goth elves off the side for good fun and then you will have a propa looted raider!

Looks good for the boyz just stealing the keys and taking the raider for a joy ride. But won't stay that way long with the boyz driving it about.

the Kult of Speed would get their hands on this thing fast and dakka it up fer Gork 'n' Mork.

Ya'know what I think it needs to be all sorts of orky? Take the flying base off and slap some tires on it. I've always thought if orks got their hands on some hi-tech antigrav machine they wouldnt be able to either figure it out or keep it running long : )

You can keep it orky and flying, just construct a giant strap on rocket on the back end.

Its a cool idea, but I agree it needs ALOT more Orky on it. Hell Id try and rebuild the whole front or back of it. When looting something, imagine a spot where it would likely have been blown to bits, and then a mekboy or two put it back together. So if you "fix" the front for example, and make it really boxy and heavy looking, itll be perfect.

Oh and exhaust pipes are always a good idea too

Wow, the green skinz looted that quickly....I think it looks good, but it just needs more of an orc feel to it. Seems like at the very least the sail would be alot more tattered if it was looted.

A person down at the loacal hobby shop/club built something like this from a Tau Devilray. He basically took it, ripped it up, put in exposed parts, painted it red, and added wheels and stuff to it.

maybe attach some "dead Deldar to those hooks on the bottom, like the orks are dragging them down the field...

They have to be dusty and banged up.
