The image should be fairly self-explanatory; smoothed it with water but the Milliput website recommends, ah, personal lubricant.



The Milliput cures hard enough to withstand being hollowed out in back and otherwise cleaned and detailed with a Dremel tool, and further detail can be added with GS or whatever to the base after it cures.

Yeah, supposedly it works better on the tools than water, but since it's water soluble has different properties than vaseline.
