Yesterday I have updated Injustice 2 on XBOX One after being offline in that game for about two years. After the update was completed eleven legendary gear items were missing. I have contacted their Support Staff today. Lets see how it will turn out,

I still need to check other games on the console and expect the worst. For example Diablo III had the reputation for deleting whole characters after an update.

I haven't updated it in a long time either. I thought by the title they had done a Halloween update.

Support said:

Erase save data and download from Cloud again but that didn´t solve a thing because those 11 items were never saved in the cloud. Opened MK X today. That game got a ton of updates too. Result: Zero issues. Only IJ2 did screw me.

Deleted my saves and rebooted the console again yesterday. Items still missing but at least the challenge stacks have turned red again. Good news at last.
