So... long story short, had a few tipples last night and ended up in a discord chat with my friends discussing games I grew up with (while streaming the original Chaos Gate to show the millennials in the group).
Result of said drunken ramble was a quick trip to my GOG library, with the intention of redownloading X-wing vs Tie fighter now that some of them have gotten flight sticks
However, having the attention span of a sickly gnat my mind was drawn to an advert for a game that I had not played for MANY MANY decades and remembered has having the best (read: cheesiest) cutscenes of any game other that Red Alert 3 (SPAAACCEE!!!)
Game in question was Final Liberation, best described as Command and Conquer meets Warhammer
40k meets a Roger Corman production.
May just have been the best thing I have ever done while drunk
Very much enjoying the game and have decided to try and see how many of the old
40k games i can get working on my
pc.
So...I know I can get Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels, but what about the original game?
I have vague memories of an Eldar based strategy game but can't recall what its called. Anyone know? is it available anywhere?
Anyone else ever just had one of those ...hmm i feel like playing some really old games momments and then found themselves spending far too much time chasing them down?
