Not that I mind tokens, but I do prefer the feel of three D, as do most of us, of course, or we wouldn't be minis players.

However, one thing I do not like about most token sets is that they are not very effective. It isn't that the artists are bad, most of them are quite good, of course, but so many artists just don't seem to understand that when drawing tokens as replacements for miniatures, the one thing they really need to be is VISIBLE. So often, they are very dark, and just don't stand out enough on the tabletop.

This guy, IMHO, really has his craft down. They very much give the flavor of the 40K universe, and they are very visible, with lots of bright colors that nonetheless give a dark, gritty feel, against the backdrop of the dark grey flagstones.

Really nice, IMHO. I would play with these.

Also, I have a preference for 40k as a statement on humanity in the future, and really prefer things inside the Imperium. Rebels and mutants against Adeptus Arbites is a favorite of mine. (I know, I know, get back in your rocking chair grandpa). And I think these really fill the bill. Makes me want to drag out my original Rogue Trader rules, or Inquisitor

Glad you like them! I especially like the Imperial Navy pieces. They seem to be a fun mix of 40k and a u-boat crew, with combat servitors added in! What's not to love!

For the online download paranoid?

Can you show us images? Because I’m super squirrelly about just downloading random files.

Seems like he's selling them now. No surprise. Still, you can buy the file and make as many copies as you like.
