Hi all, have a question for you folks I'm hoping can be cleared up.

Example:

1. A unit charges a transport with 10 models in the transport
2. The charging unit destroys the transport
3. Rules state after being destroyed the transport rolls for deadly demise and immediately disembarks and if unable to do so within 3 inches, it emergency disembarks
4. Charging unit consolidates
5. Charging unit consolidates into units that disembarked from the transport and now are in engagement range again, but this time with the models that were in the transport.

Is this how it works or is it like this?

1. A unit charges a transport with 10 models in the transport

3. Charging unit consolidates
4. Transport rolls for deadly demise and disembarks and if unable to do so within 3 inches, it emergency disembarks

Basically I'm wondering what step in the phases does the consolidation happen? In the rules it says after attacks, but the rules also state the models immediately disembark but then states roll deadly demise.

It's confusing because consolidation, deadly demise and disembark all say they happen at the same time.

Consolidiate happens after all attack happen. Transport could come on 1st out of 10 attacks.

So it comes later than immediately which is...well immediately

This is correct. Deadly Demise and disembarkation happen immediately upon destruction of the Transport and therefore before Consolidation.
