I don’t see any restrictions that would prevent use of temporal surge in a unit after it arrives from with deep strike or reserve. Anyone see something that would prevent that?

To answer your question, the only restrictions are that you have the minimum number of cabal points, the selected unit is within 18 inches of the selected psyker and not to be within engagement range. Arriving from reserves or strategic reserves is not a restriction so yes you can use it.

As Temporal Surge is used in the Shooting phase, being setup as Reserves has no impact on its use.

Yea I wasn’t sure if there was an obscure writer’s commentary that prevented it. Like how you need to take battle shock after arriving from reserve type rule that is buried in the commentary
