As we all know, the SW's 13th Company popped out of the Eye to say hello during the Eot campaign. But what have they been up to since the Heresy, and before that point. Have they helped to stop countless assaults by Chaos, have they killed any significant (or potentially so) Chaos champions? Do they know the secrets of the Warp or Chaos? Have any of them actually been face to face with the fallen Primarch's? And, if they should come upon them, do they fight the Fallen DA's, or join with them as brother loyalists?

Another question is whether they are, or were, aware of the amount of time that was passing them by, or totally closed off from the real world. If so, that means they are still fighting the Heresy.

Thoughts, anyone?

I'm currently reading myself trough the Index Astartes articles and last week I read something about Space Wolfs. after the battle against Magnus the Read, the 13th Company was the only one to chase after him, as they vanished into a Warpgate. that's the last thing that was heard of them.
I don't know much more about them. When Abbadon started the 13th black crusade (coincedence? I think not) they suddenly popped out of nowhere. they were a cool fluffy list with great conversion poosibiltys, when suddenly Gav Thorpe the 6th Chaos God of always-his-fault turned up and ate them

The super amazing all-inclusive Eye of Terror campaign that completely changed the 40k universe ( it was just the Imperium holding out against enemies all around it, but Now it is the Imperium holding out against enemies all around it.) and was so important as to warrant a new codex and army lists (now void) stated that the 13th company searches the Eye for Magnus the Red and maybe flea powder.

I loved the 13th Company fluff and the rules were nice too, but they have vanished. I will mourn them....

I heard the only vanished from the UK and that in US tournies they are still legal.

They also look like an awesome list for cities of death.  So get on that!

I wish GW would just get off there lazt *donkey*and sort it out. Ok so some of us wasted our money on armies that are no longer usable in tournies. Ok I can accept that but what I want to know is what is Grimnar going to do about it?? Get moving with the fluff. Even better would be if they just wrote a book about it.

well, since Space Wolfs were always a bit...ahem...different, I suppose they would be welcome in the great halls of Fenris. after all, they are their lostz brothers who dissapeared 10.000 years ago. who knows, they might bring news from Russ himself

Actually Logan Grimnar has declared 13th company heretics that are corrupted by Chaos(Even though they aren?t they just use chaos amour to repair there amour) and should be killed on site... I forget where I read this but when I find it I will post it and we can discuses whether we think it's valid.

You probably heard it from some red/black shirt. Or you read it somewhere. Its not true. Dont believe the Hipe. How did Grimnar declare this?? just be hearing about them?? did they get a trial by him?? Cmon be serious. Not that it matters either way as I would still use them as loyalist in fact if GW are to get rid of them I would just add the list to my SW codex. Sure I would not be able to use it at a tournie(not a big loss) but I could still use it amongst friends and with peoples consent as the people i usually play with are quite easy going like that.

If you want to use the 13th Company in tournies, use the rules for blood angels... wulfen are the deathcompany

And actually, what you're looking for is on the inside of the back cover in the SW codex where there's a round table with tablets... under the 13th Company one.... it reads something like "Evidence of deserters and traitors"

I am betting thats part of the actual 13th company rules in EOT.

Dont get pissed off. It was a general coment hensce I said people. If it was directly aimed at you I would have said Seyc Blood Claw said so and so. It was a general complaint as I have heard similar things to what you said with people (not you ) claiming they heard something from various sources ie redshirts, andy chambers, friend family, Russ etc.

So relax and maybe you should not miss your medication next time as its seems to make you cranky.
