Went to my old game hangout in Maastricht Vlieg er eens uit, and saw that he had still lots of metal GW miniatures in blisters so i bought a few.

I started painting my last Plague Stage 2, but then wasted the rest of the day watching QI on Youtube.

I'm going to try and get the S2 finished tonight, as I want to start the 1st Gen tomorrow. Once I get that done, it will be my first complete DZ faction. Rebs are only 1 soark away from completion, but I just can't decide on a colour scheme for that guy that looks suitably 'alien'. I have blue grogan, red Yndij, and an orange-brown terraton, so finding something that works with all of those is essential. Same colour armour helps to tie them together (white) but there's a lot of skin on the Soark that I don't want to look unnatural when with the rest of the squad. Any suggestions welcome.

Don't sweat it, we've all been there.

I've got the basecoat down on the Plague 1st Gen, and a wash. Should have it done soon enough.

My favorite is when I end up with a glaring mold line and I don't realize until I've just finished painting something better than usual =/

Today I'm experimenting with having my daughter color in her high chair while I paint. It isn't a smooth process yet, but it's kind of working. So hopefully I finish my Yndij if this pans out.

Then I'll assemble some more skeletons and see about arranging them on their tray.

Got the 1st Gen done, 1 DZ faction complete! It's amazing that I genuinely thought they would be the faction I liked least, but I've ended up finishing them first and loved painting every model.

I've been painting cultists all day. They played well in my game yesterday (despite me still losing) so I figured I should get them finished.

Then I will probably get back to Deadzone this week.

When I get home from work I'm intending to put some more paint on the 15mm Republican Romans I have on my desk... I've got a full century of the buggers to do, plus auxiliaries.

Also 15mm Medieval English, 15mm WW2 German and British and some Hasslefree Modern Troopers.

To name a few of my many and varied projects!

Finished my Dreadball robots (at least the first wave) this weekend, but was unable to get them based due to a lack of time (magnets on ball-carriers bases need to be coordinated across the group to match polarities) and thinking about color schemes for the ork minis in the box set.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Finalized my battle systems pledge, they got me for more than I had planned on, but its all too cool to pass up.

Now that I'm done with that, I plan to work out a prototype regiment tray for my kings of war multibases, and get to work on the layout for the first regiment of skeletons if possible. Given time, I'll continue work on my Sorak as well.

Applying a mix of Caliban Green and Warpstone Glow to my Dark Angels stuff... just got done with a coat of a (I wanna say) 3:1 mix of Caliban Green/Warpstone Glow... debating on applying a 3:2 mix tonight... 20 Tac Marines, 10 Assault Marines, 5 Scouts, 2 Company Masters, 2 Dreadnoughts, 2 Drop Pods, and 6 Rhino chassis in a little over 2 hours is kind of tiring... may save the 3:2 mix for tomorrow... but then I'll have to guesstimate the paint again... or maybe I'll just go straight to an application of some Warpstone Glow by itself.
