Working on some army lists atm. Building some lists up so I know what I need to buy and what I need to paint. I'm starting with 1250 points for my homebrew SM chapter, 30K Imperial Fists, 40k Imperial fists and 40k Blood Angels as a display case army.

I just recently spilled half my agrax earthshade while painting my space wolves. I know your pain. The containers are too tall and the plastic tab sucks and its almost designed to spill.

What am I doing? Well I'm finishing up my final termie for my 5 man squad. Finishing up my Thunderwolf Cavalry, and then its SCENERY TIME. Just bought the honoured imperium terrain because I wanted to paint the space marine statue. Figured it would be more fun than a building. Also might try to do a marble pattern on the aquila, but idk yet.

Also picked up the Lord of Plagues nurgle guy for fantasy because I wanted to paint him. Its a really cool model, really cheap, and whenever I start up AoS I'll play nurgs. I want to try more earthy brown tones instead of the shiny vomit green that everyone goes. I figured a more dusty, weathered nurgle look would be fitting because thats what I envision when I think death and decay. Probably base him with the crackle paint as well.

Just the other day I spilt half my P3 Thamar black all over my table. Seems to be a reoccurring theme as of late. I just "lucked" out that it wasn't shade, paint is easier to clean up and doesn't spread as much.

This lot just turned up this morning, so that's my day pretty much sorted out. That Hulkbuster suit is pretty darned huge. Sabertooth and Magneto arent any slouches either.

Of course, naturally I still haven't finished painting my original X-men boxed set

Just had my first game as Eldar - 200 points kill team.

I took my largely unfinished Swooping Hawks and largely unbuilt Dire Avengers against some Sternguard. Played a sort of King of the Hill objective. Half my army wussed out in T1, and only by the saving grace that is 18" jump did I pull the game to a draw.

Goddamn did my SH Exarch pull through for me. Fleshbane is awesome.

I can't wait to get the rest of my stuff in! Actually, all my X-men are painted, this is the first complete army I've had for any game! Just finished my X-Force variant Deadpool Thursday, and Magneto will have sculpting work done to make him Marvel Now appropriate, and will be painted that evening (depending on green stuff hardening).

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I don't think I could pull off painting multiples of the same miniatures anymore, especially a 'hero' type. Thoughts do cross my mind though. Like, that Sabertooth scheme on the box is pretty cool, but I also feel I should paint him in the brighter animated scheme instead.

I finished assembling the Hulkbuster. - Only needed a few pins in him, really. A much easier build than the hulk. Only greenstuffing I see really needed is on the underside of his legs. - Probably due to me making a pin a little too big.

It is certainly stretching the definition of the word 'miniature.'

I say do it! Get a second Sabertooth and paint him in flashier colors. Or, go for his bluish outfit like he wore in the Hulk vs Wolverine animated feature. Heck, we're only a Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red figure away from reenacting that movie now!!

Also, mine aren't all QUITE identical...Cyclops' alternate costume has custom boots and gloves, Deadpool has two Mantic Corp gun arms, and Marvel Now Magneto will have sculpting done to his helmet (removing the "antenna/horn"), cape extended over chest and gloves altered. Only Wolverine and Emma Frost will require no work for a costume swap.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I made a dropship (dropcarrier) for my infinity games.

(It's terrain unless a mission specifically calls for it) - it has rules in the current edition.
I haven't given it a name yet. AV-9 Skyhook will do until something better comes along. It's a flying brick, held aloft purely by dint of brute thrust. It's also my homage to my cyberpunk2020 rpg days.

Balsa, laminated with 010 thickness styrene sheet (0.25mm for the metrically minded, 10 thou for those metrically challenged).
Engine parts came from a Tau devilfish, SM landspeeder, and some robogear parts I had laying around.
It's unarmed, purely a transport.
Side doors open and close.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Does this count as part of the hobby? It is some kind of modelling...

If I had to guess, it's a helmet for a Gondor "Guard of the Fountain Court" cosplay?

Sculpted the cape, belt, boot and glove additions for Marvel Now Magneto's costume for Knight Models. I found one of the last (if not THE last) solo Magneto figures in the US. I'll be having the regular one in the brotherhood pack too, but I wanted to be able to use him on my X-team, and I wanted him to look the part.

That sounds awesome. Will be keeping an eye on the painting and modeling forums for him to show up.

A SM helmet, exactly.
5th of his kind, these things are bloody hard to get right!

This is an earlier stage of his predecessor which I screwed up while painting.

Working on stripping the paint off my brother's old Ultramarines army (~2500pts) so I can add them to my DA army, not an easy feat.

I'm going back to my first Bolt Action army and getting some Soviets done. I have about ~90 communists but I'm going to start small with a T34-85, a truck, a heavy mortar, two infantry squads, a flame thrower team, an AT rifle team and a commander.

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
30k Ultramarines: 2000 pts
Bolt Action Germans: ~1200 pts
AOS Stormcast: Just starting.
The Empire : ~60-70 models.
1500 pts

Just the basecoats tonight, but progress is progress. - Not exactly pleased with my "Extra Opaque Heavy Orange" basecoat though. Maybe some Agrax Earthshade or Seraphim Sepia wash will do it. The thing is, I do want a bright orange, but well, someone just thought it was pink... Which isn't exactly what I'm going for...

So, I tried a "Cassandora Yellow" wash on Toad, to see if that helped. Lets face it, even if it didn't, Toad was going to look ridiculous anyway.

To be honest, it looks alright. Or at least, the colour it is SUPPOSED to look like when I started it. I'm going for the Cartoon Sabretooth look, so he isn't 'supposed' to look like he's got hyper realistic colours.

Turning a German Panther tank into an APC for a possible Konflikt '47 project. I've no idea if that game has rules for modern style enclosed APCs though.
