I played Dreadball tonight for the first time in literally months.

The first half went well, pretty even all the way. The last 3 rounds... Did not.

I was 2 points down, I had one turn left and my opponent did this.



With the "Ada Lorana" team I was fielding, there was literally nothing I could do to deal with it.

Just got Human Interface Nakumura Tower and the Battle systems kick starters through the door.

I have now finished all the base colors on the DW Overkill jump marines. Shades, highlights, and small details are all that remain, plus the bases (which will be very quick and easy). I've also ordered a squad of Chaos bikes (at a discount on eBay) to turn into a Cyclopian Cabal. They will get axes from the other item I ordered from eBay, Start Collecting: Space Wolves.

Picked up a Firefly light warjack for my Cygnar and a second Ferrum for my UCM.

Unfortunately can't even build the Ferrum for a while because I need to prime it first and it's way too humid here.

Painting my 1946 Eastern Front Germans.

Worked on the second (of seven) road tile for my current board project. Also added debris to one of the factory/large building tiles. Probably needs a second pass.

Built a javelin, dagger and put the straps and cover on a shield for Dagorhir/LARP. Two more partial spears started, and gonna make two Ghal Maraz style Warhammers for it as well!

I bought more plastic crack and now more projects are on hold again. Argh.

Locating some good foam adhesive as the Gorilla Glue dries too hard…it is Sunday so a visit to the in-laws and very limited chance for any modelling or painting.

I seriously swear I didn't think I had bought much Armada since it came out... It was just an extra ship or two during a sale...

I did that with x-wing, really piles up on you quickly!

As for me, only had a bit but I've been playing with my battle systems post apoc terrain, neat stuff.

Today, i had my second mk3 game with my Cryx, Denny1, versus Legion, Abby. Mission was (mosh) pit. I led 3:1 before i killed the caster.

Today I have been scouring the web for a good company to purchase some Winged Hussars from, seeing how I intend to star a Poland/ Lituanian army for Pike & shot. Even if I promised myself I would not purchase large amounts of plastic horsies again

Building a DW Army seems fun. I'll have some 30k Marines to paint before.

So I decided I had to ask the good people of Dakka on their adivce, as stated earlier I am more or less decided on starting a small Poland - Lituanina Cavalry army for Pike and shot or historicals in general. But I cant decide on what company to buy from!

Finished Riot Grrrl for Devil's Run. Not enjoyed painting this one (which is not a slight on the mini, I like it) so it took far longer than the end result would suggest. I made a poor choice in deciding to prime in army green and was fighting against that to the end. There really isn't enough contrast.
Still, she's done now and I can get on with Oily Jim.

Also, assembled everything from Mansions of Madness 2nd edition. Which I really should not have bought, but Chaos Cards had a price I couldn't pass up. Willpower is still my dump stat.

Played in a 40k tournament today with my Tau list. Ended up losing the first two games (partly due to bad tactics on my part), but managed to pull the third one out. My local meta is extremely cutthroat, considering the size of my hometown. All three games were really fun, especially the first one since I managed to take down an Imperial Knight with 3 hull points remaining with a burst cannon riptide. Good times!

Today I played in my 40K Starter League game. Got crushed. Had fun, good opponent who was patient with me since I have a hard time containing the rules.

Got through most or all of one of my battle systems urban apocalypse scenery yesterday so I'm gonna try to add to the pile today.

Progress on my Deathwatch army:

Starting painting Koreans for Ronin. Got the the base coating mostly done, I just need to do the metal and touch up on the stray paint.

I ended up with going with the Warlord ones for the rank and file, while I got the the King Wladyslaw IV model from Essex miniatures, now its just a matter of wainting
