Seems to be a running theme with sculptors if you think back to the FW verminlord and the big rat abomination thingy they did.

It's a bit of a shame, I'd like to see them fit more seamlessly to the plastic range.

Forge World should hire me just to sculpt hair.

Not bad, though it does look like he's got an epic set of mutton chops on him

I personally find it quite tricky to sculpt fur so that it looks like it was supposed to be there and not, well, sculpted on by an amateur afterwards, lol.

I myself have an epic pair of mutton chops...so it's all good. Lol

And this was really my first time sculpting on a miniature. So yes, very amateur. But I'm happy with it.
Sorry for derailing the post. Carry on.

Anyone got an idea of release dates before someone tries to make money on these?

First thought was "alternative rat ogre model?" due to large image size.

Hakflem is some strange character. Stats would suggest he's a kind of super strong gutter runner with loads of mutations. But he doesn't look like a gutter runner here. The model looks very violent, but the only offensive ability he got is prehensive tail. And the possibility to run and dodge to give assist or block, preferably with an assist as he has no real benefit when blitzing (other than what's stated about speed and dodging). Anyone tested him and know if he's good? Stats are certainly nice, but a normal gutter runner with just wrestle/block and possibly Dauntless could be almost as useful. Seems like Hakflem is good at dodging, tagging opponents and picking up the ball. Not sure if he's worth it for 200k though. Please share thoughts!

Yes! Excellent!

I suggested trying to do exactly this when the images of rat ogre first was released. According to memory, the response was something like "no, burn it with fire".

Hakflem is a kind of mutating lab rat though, so maybe more justified as being nude. But if you get him too, do share if you plan to convert further!

The balls for the goblin team are excellent, oh that poor snotling will be paste when the game is done.

Still bummed the special weapons, the best/most fun aspect of the team are resin and aren't as nice. Not sure whos sculpting this stuff, can't be tom hughes...cause Zug is quite a step above some of this stuff in quality.

Dice will be available later along with other new and rereleased dice that were posted on previous page. July 22nd has been mentioned on internets.

Picked up some cheap gobbo booster packs (pre ordered), going to get a troll and a skaven box. Now i just need a good name for my underworld team...

Very exciting. Was hoping for Stadium and pitch rules as they are quite fun in BB2 digital. Keeping Star Players can be interesting. I don't know what the benefits and drawbacks for Sponsorships are, but can be fun.

Are the rules for referees going to be a re-run of referees from White Dwarf? Or other additional Referee rules? What about new coaching staff rules? Return of the Wizard or anything else?

Not sure if Hall of Fame teams are of any interest. My initial understanding was that these were alterations of the original teams. Like the Bright Crusaders, a Human Team which trades in cheating and foul play and gets situational re-rolls instead. The team listed I saw more as an example of a historic team. The team composition and level-ups are complete garbage. A lineman got pass! Would it not be possible to play this team using a fresh human team and adding the custom rules on top?

You really have to exclude all of the reprinting of old rules to find what's interesting in these books.

Plastic Goblins are amazing, the Forgeworld stuff is truly terrible tbh, I'll buy 2 packs of the standard team and get cutting.

I quite like the Raiders. The Black Orc and Blitzer are particularly good looking. No new poses but we expected that after the Crusaders.

Orcland raiders is pretty funny considering the team they are parodying won't have that name much longer!

These guys are some of the better Bloodbowl figures Forgeworld has released, which is a bit of a shame so much of the other stuff haas been a miss.

Oh, does anyone know if they're ever going to release Grak and Crambleberry?

EDIT: the neoprene pitch looks awesome

Gotcha, I should have clarified I meant released to a wider audience. But I guess Warhammer World exclusive dooms that potential.

Did I miss the reikland reavers neoprene pitch sometime? I don't think I ever saw it up for sale. The orc one turned out pretty cool though. And the orcland raiders look pretty nice. I hope the pogo stick gobbo turns out better than the other special weapons.

The Reilkand pitch has been delayed or cancelled possibly due to some production problem (was one post about it earlier).

Not very happy about the way GW/FW is releasing some of their products. Seems like Warhammer Fest is bought and paid for by Ebay Scalp Fest. Limited releases, sold out products, event only... Blood Bowl was already quite obsucre and difficult to get your hands on. This new strategy is not always fixing that. You need to really pay attention and have focus to actually pick some of these products up.

Right now there are ALOT of new (or reappearing) releases:

Skaven Booster
Skaven Dice
Skaven Pitch
Hakflem Skuttlespike
Orc Dice (Alternative)
Orcland Raiders
Orc Pitch (Alternative)
Orc Booster (Speculation)
Human Dice (Alternative)
Human Pitch (Alternative) DELAYED
Human Booster (Speculation)
Dwarf Pitch
Dwarf Dice
Grim Ironjaw
Goblin Box
Goblin Dice
Goblin 4-pack
Goblin Secret Weapons 1
Goblin Secret Weapons 2 (Speculation)
White Dwarf & Black Gobbo
Death Zone Season 2

That's a long list, but only one actual new team in that pile.

The Raiders stuff must be resin casts from revised CADs used for the plastics as the sculpting actually looks crisp.

I found the Skaven Pitch (and the Orc side of the starter pitch) almost unusable from a readability perspective.

New positionals for the Goblin team, with new skills to boot! The Doom Diver and 'Ooligan.

'Ooligan is utterly pointless, unless its a misprint and it should be Dirty player.

I doubt it's a misprint. Its worth might depend on whether they've changed how Fan Favorite works.

Fan favourite is like having an assistant coach and a cheerleader, plus the bonus on pitch invasion and throw a rock (allowing for 4+ or 5+ pitch invasions if you get FAME naturally). That's a bonus on over 1/3 of kickoff results.

Disturbing presence isn't huge, but it's a nice bonus.

I'm wondering how good swoop has to be for the doom diver to lose Dodge and increase cost by 20k compared to a goblin.
