It’s really pretty cool!

I do wonder if me might see the turret sprues released separately.

They say next week's preview is kindof Halloween themed...Night Lords upgrades maybe?

Nice. Now for more infantry and maybe a Vindicator?

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Oh sweet. I didn't think they'd do the other turrets. Good to see them back and 100% plastic.

You thought they couldn't do another non-infantry box but here we are.

They've swapped one sprue (just the turret gun sprue, not the turret/top sprue itself or anything else) out of 5 sprues. Its easy-peasy.

Its definitely annoying that they didn't announce it with the other predator, but its good that they're letting people get all the options for the unit entry.

Some of the design choices are... interesting. While most of the guns have tubes and whatnot connecting to the additional 'box' on the back of the turret, the plasma cannon and conversion beamer have to vent _through_ the crew access under the hatch. That's mildly horrifying.

Thanks. Now I can never unsee it.

The others look like the box on the back contain ammo (neutrons / promethum, etc) while the plasma and beamer look like a heat sink for power generation. Also nothing stopping you using one of the other 'boxes' with those two.

I think we're at an interesting juncture now, I'll be curious to see how the Heresy range will grow in 2023. More infantry would seem like the obvious thing, or either flyers, jetbikes, or speeders.

Everybody loves Dreadnoughts, so I don't think a Deredeo would be out of the question either. Some of the legion-non-specific praetor variants as character kits also seem plausible to me.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

In a vacuum I'd like it, but when I consider a superheavy would eat up like 3 kits worth of limited production capacity, then it's the last thing I want to see. Which means GW will probably do it

Felblade will probably happen at some point so the legiones have a super-heavy in plastic. Since Marines shockingly don't have a plastic LoW tank in 40k either (Guilliman is Ultramarines, Astraeus is resin) maybe it'll be advertised and released with the next codex?

Fellblade would be “neat, I’ll get one eventually” but assault squads with cc weapons would be “give me three now!”

There's of course those other Spartan variants they could now do for comparatively little work, but I don't know if anyone's really clamoring for a Cerberus or Typhon at this very moment.

I guess it would be a level of optimism beyond the bounds of reasonability that Mechanicum would be getting even a single plastic kit?

I wonder if the thought experiment is wait until they predict everyone lost patience and converted or turned their AOD beakies into tacticals and then spring the despoiler and assault upgrades on people.

But deep down we all know it's gonna be whirlwind turrets for the Rhino and Sicaran hulls next.

Yeah, mk 6 Apothecaries/Librarians/Comms/Techmarines etc seem like reasonable guesses at some point.

I would expect these before any mkii/iii/iv anything. Maybe same but terminator variants.

I could see them doing some 2 packs of characters to replace the resin ones, like a mk IV and VI apothecary and a Mk III and Mk VI techmarine. Maybe a Champion and Vox master 2 pack again as well.

First we need helmets & shoulder pads. Then consuls.

Just got my Land Raider Proteus.. and I am shocked! Seems like the Land Raider / Spartan side doors are bigger than the Rhino doors of old, so how yall are adding your custom Chapter symbol resin doors to these? Surely these doors must be compatible with some other existing GW kit?!

Or have I missed something and there is currently no way to use our fw chapter resin doors on these new plastic kits?

Probably by using Land Raider doors on a Land Raider?

Yeah. The FW vehicle upgrades should still work, if they're used on the right vehicle. Rhino doors work on rhinos, afaik

Which is perfectly doable seeing as the pads are coming quite quickly in resin, plastic Consuls are pretty necessary for all armies, pads not so much.
