ok, i just finished the book and im confuesed.  can someone please explain the ending to me?  did jaq become part of the numen?  were the sons of the emperor real or just a lie of the eldar?  was he posesed at the end?

some clarification would be nice, thanks.

I would say that Jaq definitely did not become part of the Numen.

As for the other questions, they weren't answered - on purpose - another unsolved mystery.

As for Jaq being possessed: he was certainly "possessed" by his obsession with Meh'Lindi (sp?), which made him far more likely to use questionable means.

He wasn't possessed.  He despaired, and wanted to goad the Imperial Fists chap into killing him.

I think the sons of the Emperor were real, as of the time of the writing, but later fluff may have changed that. I know that outside of the series, I have never heard a thing about the Sensei.  I'm pretty sure that at some point during third edition, the Illuminati conspiracy, and the Star Child theory were revealed to have been propogated by Tzeentech.
