The game lives up to the title. I've been scared so many times playing this game it's ridiculous. They also did a really, really good job with the storyline and gameplay mechanics. Example? I shot a fire extinguisher that was halfway down the hallway, and the fire extinguisher's compression caused it to fly down the hallway and smack me in the face. Needless to say, that was a killshot

All in all, it's well worth the cost. It's fun, well-written, and enjoyable beyond belief. Well, and scary.

- Yeah , the game is pretty chilling.  The parts that freaked me out the most was when the little girl came spidercrawling from a cubicle in the office building level, and when I was climbing a ladder and she was standing at the top.  My parents were pretty angry at me for swearing so loudly.  It's a great game.

I haven't finished yet because it freaked me out. The bit on the elevator where the lights flicker off, then back on for a split second and she's just standing in the opposite corner... that was freaky.

Wait until you get to interval 7, 'Alison Wade' after you save Alison and have the Elevator Ride from Hell(tm). The last stop's a doozy <_<

I hate it when the doors just randomly open, and the lights flicker. That's what gets my goat the most. If you guys have the DVD version of F.E.A.R. check out the prelude mini-movie... creepy and freaky.

I actually screamed at one point during the demo, I know, I'm a big girl :/

Haven't actually bought the full game yet, but seeing as my local Game has it for £14.99 I might as well pick it up.
