Playoffs are starting soon. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in picking favorites each round, once the Conferences settle on who's in, who's out.
C'mon Bruins, squeeze in there!!!! (Just please don't match up against Montreal )

I love hockey. Grew up watching and playing it. Then college happened and I lost the time to follow a sport. Who looks good these days? I know my Blackhawks have improved alot (thank you Kane and Toews), but outside of that I'm kinda clueless.
Although I can pretty definitely say that the Cup will end up in the West...the East always sucks.

I'm thinking Montreal and San Jose in the final. Both teams are playing good hockey at the right time. Anaheim has improved but word is Jiggy's back is bugging him again. There's no Bryzgalov to back up Jiggy this time. If Detroit can get healthy in time they can make things interesting. There doesn't seem to be much competition out east. New Jersey has Brodeur but they do not have the scoring depth to get them deep. I'm not too confident that the Penguins goaltending will take them deep. Ottawa is falling part at the seams. I think the playoffs will be interesting this year. There are will be a lot of close match-ups. I'm still hoping for my beloved Oil. Three points out thanks to the inspired play of the rookies. Hopefully they make it. If not this year the future is bright for them.

I'm thinking it'll be either Montreal or the Rangers from the East. Probably San Jose in the West, maybe Detroit. I think the East has the best chance of being upset though...

Well, my Sharks prediction isn't going to happen... I'm just ticked that Versus showed the two games I didn't care so much about. I was more interested in the NJ/NYR and COL/MIN matchups... At least my Bruins are still on local coverage tomorrow night!

Regarding the Bruins/Habs series... I'll be happy whether the Bruins win or lose now!
A) If the Habs win in Game 6, we deprived them of winning in front of their home crowd.
B) If it goes to 7 games, what's the matter Habs? Couldn't finish us off in your first two attempts?
The B's weren't supposed to make it this far anyway, but I like their chances against any Eastern team if they can just make it past this round!

Well, I wanted the Stars to make it to the second round, but I don't see them getting past San Jose. I think the West Finals are going to be the Red Wings and Sharks, both are going to have to go through a 7 game series to get there though.
As for UK hockey, do they have a league website, I'd be interested in checking it out.
