I haven't been very active since I joined dakka so i'll upload pics of my current project, a scratch built deff dred made from loadsa SM bitz and a Chaos dred foot

:

early works

replaced the chainswords and rokkit lancher with a BIG chainsaw, extra pincher. Added a cardboard base and a string of human heads

Size comparison

Will paint it asap and add more pics.

Wow thats awesome painted. Looking at it before it was painted I thought it looked a bit goofy, but now I'm impressed! Great work

Finish product looks great! Must be rewarding to take a heap of spare parts and construct a complete model out of it! I wouldnt know, SM dont really leave the option for you to do this

Thanks, yea I felt like Dr Frankenstein when it was finished, had a "ITS ALIVE" type of feeling. The good thing about orks is no matter how bad the build is it will look alright as long as you paint it in an "orkish" fashion.

That looks great. Pure "beat face" is we can make than an adjetive. I had a hard time seeing it without pain, but it's awesome with it. Maybe I should paint some of my models at some point...
