Thoughts or ideas how it will play in factions or on the table?

I have been reading a bunch of the Excursion series of WMH lately. Haven't touched Storm Break though as I am waiting for it to come out s I can buy. From the previous fiction though we see a lot playing out.
In "Godless" Severius dies during a Skorne invasion of Tower Judgement. He tells Tristan that he wants Kreoss to be the next high hierarch but instead of going to the Northern Crusade where Kreoss is at, he goes to Imer. There, Feora learns of Severius' death and ends the Northern Crusade, leaving Kreoss and crew stranded and consolidates her vote with the council of hierarchs.
At the same time in the first Acts of War, Vlad is given semi independence for Umbrey and the Umbrean portions of Lael on the condition that he can keep those areas.
With the Northern Crusade being stranded, Umbrey rolling Old Faith heavy, and the Infernals we can see it play on the tabletop in the new cav theme that combines Menoth and Khador units.
Feora being part of the Dark Masters theme also reflects her pride seeking outside forces to help her consolidate influence in the Protectorate and Grymkin being in the theme that fights the Infernals also makes sense.

It is both. They released part of the novel as league fiction whose outcome was determined by the Stormbreak narrative event. The event will conclude in LnL and the result will appear in a novel.
