First gameplay expansion that needs to be paid for, before this one the only paid DLC was cosmetics. Everything else; new classes, new weapons, extra game modes and whatnot, those were all added on for free. Unless you had the deluxe edition, in which case all those paid for cosmetics were unlocked for free alongside the classic Aliens cosmetics and Hicks' shotgun you got from the deluxe edition. You'd think that the exclusive shotty would be OP by the way, but nope! The standard pumper unlocked at the start of the game is the most obscenely powerful and useful gun available to most classes!

And ha, probably in minority here, but the main game, high price aside, is a fun (cooperative) romp for sure, the gameplay loop is solid, but not sure how this one will pan out, as the Pathogen were contained to a single level in the main campaign, which made for a fun diversion, but did not detract much from the overall campaign, especially given how annoying the explosive "chiggers" were and how frequently waves of the little fethers were sent after you when low on ammo and / or health. But new enemies, promise of a new campaign will hopefully mean at least twelve more missions?
