Does 10e have a "minimum damage" mechanic?

Consider the Wraithknight:
Wraithbone Form: Each time an attack is allocated to this model, subtract 1 from that attackā€™s Damage characteristic.

Does this render the Wraithknight immune to bolters, shuriken catapults, and other D1 weapons?

No the designers commentary specifies that damage is never reduced to zero unless an ability specifically states that it does

Thanks for the pointer! It'd be nice if the rulebook had the "no reducing S/T/A/D characteristics below 1" language, but at least it's somewhere.

(For future reference:
Rules Commentary, Modifying Characteristics wrote:Strength, Toughness, Attacks and Damage characteristics can never be modified below 1. The exception to this is where a rule specifies that you can change the Damage characteristic to 0, where this is applied before any other modifiers.
