Does the healing ability of the hospitalier resurrect models?

It says "that unit regains 3 lost wounds"

It says nothing about resurrecting(or not resurrecting) models in its text but most healing refers to individual models this one refers to the unit which would normally mean 1w infantry as most of the the time wounded character units lose infantry first.

It's restricted to one friendly Adepta Sororitas Infantry Character model within 3". It happens at the end of your movement phase.

Those two things seem to preclude returning models to the field. The model must be there, it must be an infantry character (i.e. not a unit of multiple models).

Regaining Wounds does not return models to the unit. Rules that allow you to return models will specify that. This unfortunately makes the Hospitaller of limited use since there are not very many instances where you have multiple wound Adepta Sororitas Infantry Character models who needs wounds returned.

She could hang out near the Triumph of St. Katherine.

Vahl is not Infantry. The rest of the Infantry Characters mostly have 3 wounds. The Canoness has 4 and the Epic Heroes have more n

it doesn't specify infantry character model

it specifies "infantry character unit". So Gemini or arco flagellants accompanied by a preacher would also be eligible and also the "unit" not the model regains wounds so in a hypothetical in which the preacher was on one wound due to precision and a flagellant had taken a wound you could heal both

Yes. Yet another niche use for the Hospitalier. You just need to keep her and her bodyguard within 3” of that unit.
