Mount Eremite was noted for its lonely place in the northwestern reaches of the world. While it lacked the wealth of other holds, its warriors were well-trained, fell-handed heroes. An age of woes brought with it terror, death, and defeat for Mount Eremite. Having sworn ruddy, terrible oaths to return to their home, the Dwarfs of Mount Eremite now fight for their brethren, no matter how far-flung, regardless of allegiance or past feuds. With wild eyes and howling cries, they lay into the foe with wild abandon.

This is my Dwarfs army. It started life as a "general fantasy" army for use in KOW, Oathmark, WAP, et cetera. Some of models hence are of lower quality, owing to my developing skills. With TOW on the horizon, I've decided to share it here.

The thing about 40k is that no one person can grasp the fullness of it.

On the steps of the blackened, cursed city of the evil dwarfs, lies the Black Needle. This stories-tall obsidian tower is the citadel of Zhartan the Enslaver, Overlord, dread master of thousands of souls. His lordship is a cruel and vicious one, punctuated by sudden deathly torture and back-breaking work for his slaves. The red eyes of the Enslaver look down with contempt upon his realm. Even this carnival of wanton evil and abject squalor is not enough for him. His is a greed that will never be sated, for within him burns a wickedness unsurpassed.

Zhartan's hosts are known for the rich mineral bounties they collect. They decorate their armor with pigments made from malachite, lapis lazuli, and hematite, amongst others. Their war-graith consists of great axes, blunderbusses, and other such dread implements of murder-make. Sturdy, bold, fearless, and cruel, they march to war.

Something a little different, but still Dwarfs nonetheless! These are still WIP (need to do the axes).

"Why aid the men of Kislev? You don’t get it, Kazaki-Dum. We Dwarfs of Mount Eremite will pay any price, bear any burden, assist any ally to see the forces of evil dead and buried! That’s the difference between us! We Sons of Grungni have the will to win."
