Zenit Miniatures are currently on Kickstarter with the Yokai Companion, an expansion for Clash of Katanas to cover the non-historical parts of their Kensei range. (Though you could use it with other minis too, of course.)

And there's new miniatures to go with it:

There's other pledge levels and factions available.

They're 32mm miniatures. Mostly metal, but some of the larger creatures will be part resin.

Zenit are based in Spain.

There will be a pledge manager after the campaign, with discounted access to the full Kensei range, a large part of which hasn't had a regular release yet.

The campaign has funded and is unlocking stretch goals. You get one free mini with each army deal:

And this guy's coming up as a paid add-on.

Looking really good. CLASH is definitely in the running for when my group finally picks up something pseudo/historical and fantasy elements make it an easier sell.

Posters on ignore list: 36

I like the minis.
I fancy using them to play the new warhammer old world thing a friend wants to get into.

Are the minis tied to the kickstarter?

Sorry to ask a dumb question but their shop is down for some reason

No, but yes.

Much of the range is available through their site or from other retailers. And in principle everything they produce for Kickstarter would get a regular release at some point. But in practice the rate at which they make minis for KS is much higher than the rate at which they put them up in the store. By this point the backlog is so big I don't expect they'll ever clear it.

But all those minis are available through their pledge managers, which they do open to late backers. If you want in on that keep an eye on their Facebook page(s) in a couple months. This one you have to log in to see, this one you don't.

(Also I'm pretty sure the store was still up last week, so it's probably just a temporary thing.)

Well cheers for that, thank you.

I cant blame them for keeping up with their legal obligations regarding fulfillment of KS pledges.
