April Fools is legit the worst holiday on Earth. It is either the most trite, most obvious 'bit' imaginable, or just a straight up lie that would be considered annoying on any other day.

GW revealing the Squats coming back and it being legit was actually great.

But this doesn't seem to include anything than "Skaven are coming" which we already knew.

GW has had some funny ones in the past, like the How to Roll Citadel Dice book or the Sister of Silence audiobook.

They’ll never, ever top the Votann April fools.

That had us chasing our tails for days, and paid off in the best possible way.

The last good April Fools joke was in the mid 90's when Mars announced left handed Mars bars. It's been an unending pile of gak since.

I wonder if we'll get Zoats one day doing the Votann position

Yeah, it's definitely possible to do it well.

It can be frustrating when companies do it with made-up products that would be legitimately cool to buy though. (Hats off to the taun taun sleeping bag that started as an April Fools joke and wound up being turned into an actual product due to overwhelming demand...)
