Why I Started This Army
The Lehr Division formed in 1943 was a well equipped and manned fully mechanized unit. In terms of equipment and training nothing was to spare. I enjoy playing this army as it has incredible flexibility and the options to take a wide assortment of units and support. I tend to run smaller grenadier platoons which allows me to take more weapons and support options. That's not to say that the smaller platoon are any less capable. They still pack Panzershrecks and Panzerfaust a plenty. I recently added in some panzer pioneers which in my opinion add some great punch and survivability. The flame throwers are awesome. And of course my personal favorite are the 8.8cm Flak 37 guns. Capable of crushing almost any tank head on. Although the Lehr Division had only a limited number of Tigers, they are of course included in the army. Please enjoy...
