15th sounds good.

Love the game BTW, just haveing a hard time finding support, mainly due to peoples armies not being in game yet.

Its a minor speedbump though. Keep up the good work!

@jp400

We can all fully understand that. We have quite a few people who are on the forums but don't have gaming groups or are out of town due to various reasons.

Keep us posted on a squad we need to look at sooner and you never know it could be coming up.

IG and Orks were the first two as they are heavily played.

Again, Thanks.

I think that if you cover SM, IG, CSM, and Orks you will cover 3/4 of the player fanbase.

Myself, id love to see the following added eventually:

Harlequins...
Genestealer Cult...
Human Aux Tau...
13th Comp...
LATD.....

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, Genestealer Cult will be involved we really love the idea of "bad" human squads. You know those humans that love their world but want it their way.

If you have read an good 40K Imperial Guard or even some Space Marine novels, especially Caipas Cain, you can see all the different variants beneath the surface waiting to act.

13th Company might be tough but there could be a type of them. With that the Chaos Cultist squad will be lead by a Chaos Space Marine and will lead a group. You will find such things in 40K novels.

Harlequins are a good idea and we will need help on that one as we don't have a ton of Eldar players involved.

Yes, the human Tau faction. They might be included in the Tau group. I forget their proper Tau name, though I think it begins with a "G".

If you got time down the road let us know.

Are you stateside or Europe?

I havn't played DS yet, and I havn't used Harlequins, but I could try writing a little mockup in a week or so. I'm good at putting together rules like that.

Inquisitorial units are ideal for DS- only thing would be incorporating enough wargear to make them unique without overloading on it such that it's impossible to keep track of.

Going to post some battle reports later this week-- we've got 5 people playing semi-regularly now (including a renegade IG squad that is tough as nails...)

Awesome! The IG renegade squad is pretty neat.

Can't wait to see the battle reports.

Check out Death Squads at the link above the post.

If you love skirmish and like 40K then this will be fun.

It is a game that allows you to control a group of men and take them on missions and see them grow.

This project is two years in the making and it is not like anything else that has been done. The rulebook is solid and look and reads pretty similiar to a normal rulebook. There are thousands of hours put into this year year. Wtih many of us over 1000 hours each a year.

Check it out. More squads are coming but they take time to develop and to balance.

Hi, sorry for the tl;dr question but:

Have you guys had any issues with GW copyright/IPR? I posted your links and propaganda on my club site and had admin jump down my throat about it... they claimed its full of infringements and threatened me with suspension and pulled the pics down. Can my club forum be pulled down by GW for infringements for posting your pics and links to your forums (where the rulkes are hosted)?

Uhh....

Sounds like your "Admin" doesn't know what he is doing and is scared of his own shadows.

As far as I know, there are NO problems with this with GW. They are not selling it (ala not makeing money off it) and GW has a history of allowing fan based expansions to roam. (NetEpic, IMunda, BFG addons, ect ect)

@Avatar. Hello, First off thanks for trying to help out it is greatly appreciated.

I am a MOD for several SG games on yahoo forums and have posted this info and have reached out to other "like" forums to pass this info along and not problems at this time. GW won't pull down a site unless something grevious happened. You know what I mean and that would require getting lawyers and money and etc. That would be pretty extreme.

We fully disclose all IP belongs to them with the needed quoted sources. There are some things one must prove to have stuff taken down as JP400 noted.

If GW wanted they could shut down every fan based add on if they wanted. With that I know GW really really frowns on their OWN rules being posted. Gamegeeks had to pull everything that was GW rules on every game GW ever did, even those they don't support. This is fan based and doesn't follow any set rules but incompasses rules from many many "playing experiences".

Either way, I will always still get to play the game I love at my local store and buy GW models to fit the squads we have and will have.

Don't know if this helps.

Yes, they are almost ready. I believe you are talking about a Chaos Cutlist Squad?

Your squad will be lead by a CSM.

You willl have the option to pick your Chaos Marks and go from there.

It is a very unique squad and opened our eyes on it.

I missed you question on "what was updated" in latest release.

Mostly, many small things. Nothing to the core rules. More refinement a few things and rewording.

(is there a jealous Ork emoticon?)

I know one of our group is chomping at the bit for some Chaos rules. Being led by a CSM, even I'm very tempted to get an Alpha Legion squad together...

Keep up the good work!

kartofelopf...Hey! Has your buddy tried out the Imperial Renegades yet?

The Chaos Cultists will be a bit more before can release as you know the Gods of Chaos are fickle.

Are you over on the DS forum also?

I have not posted any reports as it one off games due to testing out the Kroot and Chaos Cultist. But I have been posting the pics.
