I'm ditching the Ultramarine Characters for now and may use them on a different project. Since Calgar has some big fists I may make him a "Iron Hand" Calgar and paint him as such but I'm not fully committed just yet.

Estimated 75 hours left on the Iron Hands to finish them off

- Frostgrave 3x3 and 2x2 Table and + 80~ or so Minis
- Imperial Guard Armored Division (Traitor Guard) - I currently have this army unbuilt in boxes - super low priority

Also this year marks the end of my commission painting of the past ten years from when I was a wee lad at the age of 17. I'll only work on personal stuff and client's armies that I have already worked on prior.

This is a Christmas present for a friend I’m working on - it’s his character in classic WoW. He’s geared in the end game items he should have during phase 2. Inspired by the hearthstone card’s artwork shown here: https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Perdition%27s_Blade

He is a friend of over ten years of online gaming and we've hung out a lot over the years in person as well. A truly cool guy - and instead of buying him a random steam game this year I thought I'd send him this to add to his shelf of collector edition game statues

The model is still unpainted - I havent actually done any detail work - just lighting and base coats

He's a custom heroforge mini based of a local player's character + inspired by littlefinger

Some Frostgrave / Mordheim terrain work in progress

I'm raging about about this project - not sure where to go for the colors. This is part 2 of 3 for the terrain. Part 3 is on its way - added 7 more wall sections and 8 treasure tokens for Frostgrave

The bottom left piece / square chunk with the dead tree is gbetting binned and broken apart - it really doesnt match the board

This will all be basecoated again in about two weeks

Tonight I should be handling:

1. Finishing the brown wash
2. Washing dark brown on the stones and tile cracks with a pat down paper towel. During this step also clean up the edges of most brown washed terrain
3. Brown wash metals
4. Washing dark green intermittently on the white stone
5. Dry brush khaki yellow brown
6. Drybrush bleached bone
7. Heavy Teal wash metals


will post a picture when complete. Tomorrow should be drybrushing gold and brightening things up
