With the release of the 4th edition codex and many improvements in my painting skills I decided it was time to redo my army. I went with a scheme that was darker than the stock GW one. I am slowly adding to this army each month, I have a backlog of over 7,000 points of Space Marines I need to get done.

Ouze's Blood Raven/Ultramarine Joint Strike Force

I typically play with friends who have absolutely no models. So, I made a joint task force, comprised of Ultramarines (which were my first army) and Blood Ravens (which came later). Fluffwise, I think there is even a reasonable way to make it work. During the first Dawn of War game there was a point where the Blood Ravens chapter assisted the Ultramarines. After the events of Dawn of War 2, when the Blood Ravens had been decimated by the Tyranid invasion, the Ultramarines repaid the debt of honor by deploying a company to assist the Blood Ravens with rebuilding, as well as helping to destroy the remanants of the now feral Tyranids...Hence, the Blood Ravens\Ultramarine Joint Strike Force!
