So this is my personal article.
Hi I am Terran. I have been into wargaming for about 12 years now.
But have been painting models and fantasy gaming for a lot longer. I have always loved being able to paint models and build things.
For me it all started with a copy of Dungeon & Dragons. And has since gone on from there.
Army wise I have done a fair few.
I started years ago with Eldar and High Elves, but quickly learnt that they didn’t amass to my playing style. I then moved on to Chaos (Both Fantasy and 40K) and found the modelling side highly enjoyable, so much so that I moved from building a medium sized Undivided force to Nurgle. It served me well till 4th Edition codex and well it tore my army apart. It was a similar story for Fantasy, Hordes of Chaos I had a lot of fun with. Warriors of Chaos not so much.
I moved on to Guard and Empire at about the same time (well in the same year) and have been enjoying them both so much. I have also built a 60 strong Inquisitorial Storm Trooper army (which I will use till codex Witch Hunters is dead!) and along side that a lot of inquisitors as well as Grey Knights and Sisters of Battle. And most recently I built a Space Marine Battle company (still need the Rhinos mind) for my Homebrew Chapter, The Void Knights. Over a 100 models strong, with various heavy and special weapons. And terminators, veterans and scouts alongside!
I also do like The Lord of the Rings game, more than War of the Ring, and have decent sized Gondor and Mordor forces.
I like to paint, don’t think I am that good, but I can reach a standard that I am happy with and I think it looks okay. I guess Dakkadakka should be the judge of that…
And here is a link to the slowly evolving blog. I plan to update this once or twice a week with whatever I have been working on. And at some point maybe some battle reports.
