Ah I saw that one when it originally came out, I think it is really quite a good example of the difference between the PS3 and Wii, any jokes aside.

@ malfred: basically its a parody of the apple vs windows ads that were on a while back. except this is the PS3 compared to the Wii. and the PS3 is a rather plain looking overweight woman (I don't want to hit any nerves here commenting on her appearance :S ) and then the Wii is a hot blonde wearing rather skimpy clothes. And of course this proceeds to go on basically saying that the Wii is all about having fun and the PS3 is more of just a do everything machine thats not that exciting.

The controls for the wii look cool (though at first I thought they were really crappy).

malfred i cannot tell if you just watched the movie and are therefore joking around or if you actually mean what you just said . either way the wii will be awesome and considering its going to be the cheapest system it wouldn't be that hard to afford one would it? just go without food/miniatures for a month or too .

ROFL @ lord_sutekh. So thats how we determine which console to play! DOH!!!!1!!!0!!!! I totally forgot that the only important thing about video game consoles is their names, how could I ever even want to play games on something called the Wii? Nevermind the fact that its going to have awesome games with innovative controls, a huge back library of some of the best console games ever made all available to download, is beautifully designed and will cost way less than any of the other consoles. Nope, we gamers don't care about those sorts of things, the only thing that matters is it's name *eyeroll*.

(Once again, if you think I'm insane just write me off as a deranged rabid Nintendo fan as that is what I am, but I think I at least have the common sense and gaming background to analyze the upcoming consoles better than some people out there )

It's an intriguing system, I'll have to say. The closest I got to being interested
in getting it was that IGN hands-on video, but in the end I decided I wanted what
I wanted.Kudos to Nintendo for coming up with that crazy system, though. The
two remote controls remind me of keyboard/mouse functionality. You're not
bound to the central location of a controller anymore.

I plan on getting it for the party games.

That will definately be one of its best features, especially for hanging out with non gamers, its a little bit easier to understand the idea of waving a controller around than it is to coordinate your hands to play Halo 2 . And Warioware for the Wii looks like it's gonna be awesome!

It's for the more tactile gamers.

well, there will be a Fire Emblem for Wii. that's a slow tactical game for starters.
