So has the writers strike afeected your TV viewing yet.
We are pretty insulated here in Australia usually getting shows 6 months after they start in the US thanks to our ratings cycle (but we don't have a holiday hiatus).
However some shows are now brought over within a week of broadcast in the US (House, Bionic Woman are 2).

The daily shows like, well the Daily Show, and other late night talk shows are all gone without writers to come up with jokes.
or so I hear. Here in Red China things are as normal.

Daily shows and soaps have been impacted, as have the second half of a lot of shows, including my Battlestar Galactica. But we will survive, sure in the knowledge that reality shows cointune to expand at an exponential rate.

Its what the future shall become. TV shows will no longer be written, it will just be an infinte reflection of you watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show of people watching a reality TV show

I'm not in the US, their shows a few weeks late here. So far I'm still in the buffer zone but if the strike lasts long enough... I'll miss House and Heroes My heart goes out to the Galactica fan though, I've heard they're going to rush the series' ending because of the strike.
So reality TV is unscathed but how about the documentary channels like Discovery and National Geographic? If they're okay it might be time to renew that cable subscription...

Heh, if I had time for TV, I guess I'd be complaining. These days, I'm lucky to watch an hour of infotainment news-media a week.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person, who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

For me, the Daily Show, Colbert Report and my drunken guilty pleasure SNL have disappeared.
I know the strike will affect the weekly shows later on. . .the early end of the Heroes season, the postponment of 24, LOST and other shows that start later in the season.
And yet it's still busy as hell here at work. . .wtf?
We edit Dog Whisperer here (on National Geographic) and there has been no change in plans so I'm pretty sure many programs like that are fully non-union.

My only concern is the inevitable rise of yet more reality shows if the strike continues.
I can't stand most of 'em.

Maybe they'll use the extra time to make 24 not total garbage this season. Nah.
