Im surprised people are still waiting for this? I got my copy within a couple weeks of ordering?

Ordered 14th October 2023. Still waiting.
There's still nothing to show I ordered it on GW's order history.

Still have an email receipt though.

I tried dabbling with 40k9/10 again and tried AoS3 - Nice models, naff games, but I'm enjoying HH2 and loving Battletech Classic and Alpha Strike.

Still waiting and still nothing in the order history. GW confirms the order when I email them so I guess they have it but won't/can't show it on their website for some reason.

Just got my ship notice as well.

I was in the same boat as a lot of folks. Ordered under old system; no-show in new system.

I ordered under the old website and my order didn't show up when they changed over. Sometime later (not sure when) I noticed This order under My orders. After seeing this thread on Friday I went to GW to check but no change since the last time I saw it. On Saturday I get my ship notice. Should be here Thursday.

Cooincidence.....

Yes, probably. But at least I'm getting my stuff.

Mine showed up a couple days ago. Books look great. Here's hoping they do Realms of Chaos next.

Just got my shipping notice for the Rogue Trader book + Votann special character.

I'm in East TN, USA, so maybe the trip from Memphis won't take too long.

If I’m going to post that I haven’t heard anything, I feel I should also post when I get the email. Got the tracking email this morning. Very relieved.

Well, it's here. And thicker than I remembered. It's also enough taller than the WH40K 10ed and WH:TOW books that it won't fit in my bookshelves.

Yeah, mine showed up yesterday. I don't remember the pages in the original being glossy. And as you, the taller profile won't let it fit on my shelf.

But it was great to thumb through.

Mine was ordered on the old site and showed up yesterday. I'm in California, btw.

The modern printing shows some issues with printing light blue and red over black, and the army/battle photos are a little dark too. I'm surprised they didn't do anything to address that.

Still, I'm quite happy with it.

Certainly seems that way. I wonder if two ships were carrying them one went straight to the USA, and we're still waiting for the UK one.

If they were printed in China it's likely a shipment went east across the pacific to the US, while the UK ones are going the long way round Africa rather than risking going past Yemen at the moment.

It's taking a sodding long time if it did go the long way. Was it a sailing vessel?

Dunno if anyone has checked their copy, but it’s not out the realms of possibility they used a US printer.

Or potentially GW are capped on how much paper they can order in one month from their printers overseas. So the RT is being done in waves around other orders. Hence why the US is getting its supply but the UK hasn't .

New Yorker here. Got mine yesterday and it says “Printed in China.” Unsurprising since the U.S. printing industry was decimated two decades ago.

Edit: I’m using the modern “decimated” and not the older, more
literal definition “reduced by one tenth.”

KS shipping from china generally takes 2 weeks longer for ships going to the US compared to those coming to Europe, so adding the extra detour round Africa will probably add a week more to that

Going south around the Cape puts you closer to the US than to Europe. It's pretty much a straight shot to the SE coast.

Good eye. The images have lost a bit in the process. There's some compression and loss of mid-tones that results in a little muddiness. It's less noticeable in the b&w images, but it's still there. The book still looks good, but I wouldn't call this a great printing.

Hope they do a run of the 2nd edition books, but not holding my breath.
