To answer your first question: yes, you do take a -1 modifier when firing multiple shots with your Repeater Crossbows.

I don't understand. Are you asking if Cold One Knights get T4 because they are mounted on Cold Ones? If so, no. They are still T3, but they do get a +2 bonus to armor save, giving them a total 2+ armor save when combined with their shield and heavy armor.

"The last known instance of common sense happened at a GT. A player tried to use the 'common sense' argument vs. Mauleed to justify his turbo-boosted bikes getting a saving throw vs. Psycannons. The player's resulting psychic death scream erased common sense from the minds of 40k players everywhere. " - Ozymandias |

And yes, rxb can move-and-shoot.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

1. yes and yes. repeater crossbows suffer the -1 for multiple shots and they can move and fire. (DE pg 44, BRB Pg 57)
2. no. cavalry models always use the riders Ld, T and W. (BRB pg 7) I don't know why they even include them on cav models.

I really just think it's for reference/comparison. If you're running a skirmish game or making a scenario, you might have call to have unridden cold ones or some such.
